Hi friends,
If you're like me, you love routine and thrive when things are structured! During this quaratine, I've tried to make a schedule that includes moving my body, getting my school work done and getting outside for some fresh air and sunshine.
Here's my typical morning routine:
9-10AM
- Rest is so important for the body and with a little extra time and less distraction from the outside world, I have decided to take a little extra time to listen to my body and sleep in some. How are you resting your body, soul and mind during this time?
10-11AM
- Enjoy sipping on some fresh brewed coffee with eating breakfast. Rather than scrolling on my phone, I take this hour to read my devotional by Bob Goff and get into the word. This time allows me to dive deep into what God has in store for me. What are the lessons you are learning during the time?
11AM-Noon
- I take this time to go for a walk. I aim for 2-3 miles each morning. Some mornings I bring headphones and listen to a podcast or music while other mornings I just enjoy listening to the birds chirp and gathering my thoughts.
12-1PM
- This is my workout time slot. I have created a space in my house designated for my daily workouts. I have a yoga mat with a few dumbbells. Two days a week, I will FaceTime my friends and we will crush a workout together! It's a fun way to connect and also stay motivated together. Everyday looks different, some days I just stretch and flow through some yoga poses, other days I will complete a full body HIIT and occasionally I will do a cardio track circuit with my brother. I try to get creative and switch things up to make them new and exciting! Follow @livewellbeyou on Instagram for some fun at home workouts!
1-2PM
- Eat lunch, shower and get ready for the rest of the day!
That is my morning most days. I try to stick to that schedule just to keep a routine down. Most mornings go like this but some days are completely different and then I have to be flexible! Hope you enjoyed the post. Let me know what your morning routine looks like!
Xoxo,
Sades
