About Me: Sades

Hi beautiful humans! My name is Sadie, but you can call me Sades. Olivia and I are so excited to start this blog and we are thrilled that you are following along!




I am currently a senior in college studying communications and nutrition. In high school, I played volleyball and softball so coming into college and not being part of a team sport was a huge life change for me. How would I become involved? How would I remain active? Sports was my life and it kept me in shape but now I needed to find a different passion. Olivia and I share the a passion for moving and pushing our bodies to the limit but also listening to our bodies. I attend cycle classes, body pump, and yoga weekly. I've learned to navigate the weight room and lift on my own. I have formed a healthy relationship with working out, but it didn't start out that way. For me, exercising is not only for the physical gains, but also the mental gains.





Mental wellbeing is just as important as physical wellness. Nurturing and nourishing our bodies is so important. When I lived at home, we had nightly family dinners and it was wonderful. Coming to college, you have an array of foods to pick from - eat fast food every day, twice a day, or eat a balanced and colorful meal? We are what we eat. The food we consume fuels our bodies and brain and helps us get through a tough workout... We will chat about foods as "sometimes" and "always" foods, rather than "good" and "bad" foods.






I'm going to share some of my favorites...

1. I love coffee; my top 2 blends are Peet's Major Dickason's blend and Caribou's Lakeshore blend

2. My favorite sweets are ice cream and anything with peanut butter

3. My favorite thing to bake is banana bread

4. My favorite fruits are raspberries and peaches

5. My favorite leggings are Lululemon's Fast and Free or Paragon's Everyday leggings

6. Unpopular opinion but my favorite form of cardio is the stairmaster



Aside from food and fitness; I love traveling, the great outdoors, hiking, spending time on the lake and catching up with friends and family! Stay tuned - Olivia and I are going on some upcoming trips so we hope to blog about those!
